Why wait for Spring? Do it now!

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Yes NOW is the time! If you are having a drug or alcohol problem, please seek help. Now is the perfect time to go to rehab. Do it for yourself and everyone around you.

Addicts may not realize but they are causing chaos all around them. An addict, who only has the ability to concentrate on themselves, as they are so driven to acquire the drugs or alcohol needed to relieve their pain, cause much upset and grief to those around them. The relatives around an addict are so consumed with what the addict is doing to themselves and it is always on their minds of what is happening or going to happen to their loved one, they themselves have accidents and problems.

The addict needs help. When the addict cannot realize this on his own it is best for the family to call in the experts to best handle them. The expert being an interventionist. He or she will ensure that the intervention will be controlled and done in such a way to get the addict to come to his or her own realization that they need help and agree to go to rehab. This is the best way to handle an addict or alcoholic as they will not have taken any responsibility for the addiction in the first place and it is a very hard thing to swallow that you are an addict and need help.

There are many effective drug free rehabilitation centers with highly successful programs to enable a person to live a drug or alcohol free life.

DRUGS HAVE TAKEN THEM …

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

….before their time! We have lost so many of the “greats”! It is such a loss when we lose someone who has given so much to our society through their creativity. I don’t know about you but I feel I have been robbed! I, nor my children will ever get to see Michael Jackson live in concert, ever!

How is it that someone so talented and so full of life can fall into this black hole of addiction. They give us so much through their art and it seems that they would be so happy being so talented and being able to give so much….what goes wrong?

That black hole of addiction starts with a pain or agony or stress of lifes pressures. Let’s face it Michael had a lot of pressure and stress. It is a wonder he was able to be as creative as he was.

I have seen this also happen very close to home. My son who is a performer, performed with another young, very very talented individual who fell victim to drug addiction. He became addicted to cocaine which then led to other drugs. He was unable to find a successful drug rehab and was unfortunately prescribed antidepressants. He went into a tail spin. It seems that the fate of these incredible people end in death. What they need is a drug rehab program not more drugs!

Addiction and drug abuse has to end! We need drug free rehabilitation answers and they are out there. Families and friends need to get educated, find the resources, find that interventionist and save their loved ones. Help get them to an effective drug rehab center.

DRUGS - THE REAL TRAP

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Drugs are a trap! It happens so quick that a person can become a drug addict before they even realize.

The reason a person uses a drug, any drug is a mystery to some. Where one person can handle the day to day stress of work, school or peer pressure, to another it is devasting and is to be avoided at any cost. This cost can lead to drug or alcohol addiction if the pain or stress is too great for the person.

The trap: The person uses a drug to avoid their pain, whether it is physical or the mental pain called stress, this pain is alleviated for the short time of the high. When the person comes down from the high….they drop lower…. get high again to combat the feeling of being depressed from coming down, get high again. The addict is up then down, up, down, what a trap!

The person now is using more marijuana, more cocaine, more crack, more ecstasy or drinking more alcohol as they have become addicted and need more of the drug to try to get to the original high.

The addict now has a long list of physical and mental stresses caused by the addiction. His or her option is to address the addiction by going to a good drug rehab program.
